Snow Removal

Pleasant View Homeowner’s Association provides snow removal as an extra benefit as the budget allows for it.

Snow is removed from homeowner’s sidewalks after 1.5 inches accumulation of snowfall, 1 inch on HOA owned sidewalks, and 4 inches for alleys.  Plows generally don’t come out until the snow lets up in order to avoid plowing two or three times a day.

We do remove the snow around the mailboxes and ice melt is deposited.

Snow and ice removal is ultimately the responsibility of the homeowner and should be done before 9:00 a.m.; streets and alleys are maintained by the city.  Snow plowing is an extra benefit for the homeowner but only as the Budget allows

Pleasant View HOA spends in excess of $24,000 annually for snow removal.
